Samsung announced the budget for the Galaxy M02s last week in the country. However, the company did not disclose the exact date of the sale at the time of launch. Now, the Amazon page reveals the sale date of the device set for January 19. The handset comes with Black, Blue, and Red color options and will be available for purchase on Amazon, Samsung.com, and retail stores.
Depending on the price, the Galaxy M02s will cost Rs. 8,999 with 3GB RAM option + 32GB and Rs. 9,999 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model.
Samsung Galaxy M02s: Features
Samsung Galaxy M02s can be a good choice for budget conscious users or first time buyers who can manage everyday use without any problem. In terms of features, the device uses an octa-core Snapdragon 450 SoC paired with an Adreno 506 GPU. 64GB of internal storage can be expanded to 1TB with a MicroSD card.
Previously, 6.5-inch Galaxy M02s (720 x 1,560 pixels) HD + TFT LCD with waterdrop-style notch. A large 5,000 mAh battery is powered by the device with support for 15W fast charging which can be a point of integration for consumers in this segment. Coming to the software, the Samsung Galaxy M02s uses the custom skin for Android 10-based One UI above.
With that in mind, you can get a triple rear camera setting that includes a 13MP main sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro shooter. For selfies and videos, there is a 5MP selfie camera mounted on a small notch. The volume and power buttons are located on the right side; however, it does not include any visible fingerprint sensor.
With connectivity, the Galaxy M02s support 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm jack jack, and USB Type-C port. Lastly, it measures 9.1mm in size and weighs 196 grams.
